Preparation of Shrimp Scampi Pasta

To get out the most taste of the scampi, you want to prepare it in just the right way to be bright, light, fresh, and with your favorite flavor of garlic and lemon.
This recipe depends on the sauce composition. You should use lots of lemon zest and juice, olive oil, garlic, and red pepper flakes for a magical touch. After you make that mixture, you just sauté it. Let`s talk a little bite about the shrimp stock. The sauce is made from the starchy pasta water and lemon juice and then you can add the butter the parsley and the spaghetti. That is it! Easy enough! You can serve it with salad and garlic bread.

The Shrimp Stock

Take out the shells. Put the shells in a cooking pan with the onion and water and boil the mixture. After 20 minutes you can drain the mixture and set aside. This mixture after discarding the onion and the shells is the sauce.

Marinate the Shrimp

Put the shrimp, garlic, red pepper flakes, olive oil, the lemon juice and zest. Toss spices, salt and fresh cracked pepper and keep aside.

Follow the instructions on the spaghetti package to cook it. Once the pasta cooked, drain it and keep 1/2 cup of the pasta water.

Put a pan over medium heat, then, take the marinated shrimp out and toss in the heated pan. You need to cook the shrimp so that it turns pink. Indeed, you should not overcook the shrimp, just for b3 minutes. Take the pink shrimp out and set aside in a plate.

Use the marinate sauce and cook for a few minutes, then add the shrimp stock (1 cup) and the reserved 1/2 cup of the pasta water.
Also, you can add the remaining lemon juice. Boil the mixture to be reduced.

Wisk the butter and toss the parsley and spices. Put the pasta and the shrimp into the pan and place back on the stove over low heat. Add the boiled sauce, the pasta and shrimp together for 2 minutes, permit the pasta and shrimp to reheat and absorb all the zests.
